The “Formal Study” Course Materials
The ACI Formal Study Courses that are offered, come directly from the oral teachings (recorded and available as MP3 files) and translations by Geshe Michael Roach, founder of The Asian Classics Institute. All the materials you will need for the courses are available here. The Asian Classics Institute is dedicated to the serious study and personal practice of the original teachings of the Buddha. The Institute was established by Geshe Michael Roach under the spiritual direction of Khen Rinpoche Geshe Lobsang Tharchin, a distinguished scholar and master of Buddhism from Tibet.
In addition to the ACI Formal Study Courses there is a series of classes called “Dharma Essentials” series which is lively, informative and insightful overview of Mahayana Buddhism and the benefits of a daily spiritual practice as given by Lama Marut over the course of about 3 years. These “essentials” cover the basic point that are studied in greater depth through the ACI Formal Study Courses can be found either through the ACI Los Angeles website or on the Asian Classics Institute website.
